Itβs my distinct pleasure to finally share this beautiful and joyous wedding celebration from January with the world! I normally place the film images I take in a separate folder when I deliver wedding galleries (which I may reconsider after this!), so seeing the film and digital images come together to tell the entire story in this journal post is extra special. Annaliese and Matt are incredibly warm and fun individuals, so their wedding celebration at Common House RVA was a perfect reflection of their personalities and relationship, together. They were married earlier in 2021, so their 2022 winter celebration started the moment they walked in the door for their music-filled cocktail reception, and didnβt end until the final song was played on the dance floor.

Last summer I photographed an intimate elopement on the James River in Richmond, Virginia on both digital and film mediums. I worked very closely with Adin and Tim to craft an elopement that was meaningful to them, so the spot at the river where they frequently spend their summer days swimming and kayaking was the perfect place to exchange their private vows.
