Sarah in the Camellias | Portrait Session on 35mm Film

This spring I did a lot of experimenting with 35mm film after I bought my very first fully-manual SLR: a Pentax K1000 that I have grown to love dearly, and very quickly. I was very eager to get outside and shoot any opportunity the weather would allow, and thankfully my friend Sarah was on board for a little portrait session with the camellias blooming in our city. I did some minor tweaking in Lightroom on these, but the colors and textures are straight out of the camera and exemplify why I love film so much.
